After 42 years of faithful ministry and 22 years of dedicated leadership as Pastor of Mount Canaan Baptist Church, Bishop Ternae Jordan, Sr. prayerfully embraced a new season in the life of the church. On December 21st, 2025, in a moment marked by honor, legacy, and divine transition, he officially passed the mantle of leadership to his two sons, ushering in a new chapter of shared vision and continued purpose. This historic transition reflects not only the strength of generational leadership, but also the unwavering commitment of Mount Canaan to move forward together—grounded in its rich heritage while embracing the future God has ordained.
