DR. willie mclaurin

Dr. Willie McLaurin is the Interim President and CEO for the Executive Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention. He has served churches in North Carolina, Arizona, and Tennessee. He studied at North Carolina Central University and Duke School of Divinity. Willie served on the state convention staff of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board for 15 years. Additionally, he served our country honorably in the United States Army Military Intelligence Corp. Willie is the author of two books and is featured in several publications. He is married to Antonia McLaurin and they have two daughters.

PASTOR solomon killiebrew

Reverend Kenneth Solomon Killiebrew Jr. was born February 19, 1985 to Kenneth Solomon Killiebrew Sr. and Donna Durant Killiebrew. Reverend Killiebrew was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He is a graduate of Sewanhaka High School. Reverend Killiebrew also attended the Brooklyn Academy of Music and the famous Juilliard School of Music in New York City, NY where he completed a certificate in Advance Music. He served as an active and faithful member of the Wayside Baptist Church in Brooklyn, NY under the leadership of the late and great Reverend Joe Parker. 

Reverend Killiebrew preached his first sermon on Father’s Day June 15, 2008 at the Hutchinson Missionary Baptist Church in Montgomery, Al where he served as an Executive Minister, The Youth Pastor, and College Ministry Director under Pastor Dr. G.W.C. Richardson Jr. for 5 years. Reverend Killiebrew was ordained to preach the gospel on April 3, 2010.  

Pastor Killiebrew formerly served as the National Youth President of the Progressive National Baptist Convention under the leadership of Dr. T. Dewitt Smith Jr. and Dr. Carroll A. Baltimore Sr., National Presidents for 4 years. He has been privileged to travel all across this country both serving and mentoring young people. He has served this great convention for over 20 years: serving on a local, state, regional, national, and international levels. He is a visionary and enthusiastic leader, whose mission is centered on transforming the lives of God’s people. Currently, he is the proud Pastor of Harvest Missionary Baptist Church in Rossville, Georgia.

He is a graduate of the prestigious and historic Alabama State University in Montgomery, Al where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. He also attended graduate school at Lee University where he received a   Masters of Science degree in Higher Education Administration. After completion of this degree, he plans to attend Seminary to finish an additional Masters in Theological Studies. His plans after graduation are to receive a Doctorate in Christian Education.

  K. Solomon married his best friend Dr. Jasmine Carstarphen-Killiebrew on September 7, 2007. He currently resides in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He is a proud member Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.

DeJuan S. Jordan is a purposeful woman with a deep-rooted faith, who has attained both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University and a Master's Degree in Business. She is a certified life and business navigator, coach, consultant, speaker, and author.

 

DeJuan is the CO-CEO of LAUNCH and the founder and owner of her own coaching and consulting firm, where she has helped hundreds of entrepreneurs and individuals who felt stuck, overwhelmed, and unhappy with their personal and professional lives. Her heart-centered faith-based approach to coaching and training helps her clients gain clarity, find fulfillment, and identify the steps necessary to move forward in their God-given purpose.

 

DeJuan is an accomplished and inspiring woman who has made a considerable impact in the entrepreneurial and business spheres, serving as an inspiration to many. In Additionally, DeJuan is also actively involved in her church and community, and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

shawanna miller grant

Shawanna Miller Grant is a bible teacher whose love for God empowers her to speak and teach His word in a captivating manner that shines through her larger than life personality. Shawanna’s has a teaching style that is lighthearted and relatable. She lives by her favorite verse, Psalm 46:10- Be still and know that I am God, or as she translates it…. Sit down somewhere, God’s got this.

 

Shawanna was born and raised in Chattanooga TN, is a graduate of Brainerd Senior High School and has attended Tennessee State University and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, Nashville. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. She is currently working as the Organizational Development Manager at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee where she has been employed for the past 24 years and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

 

Shawanna’s love and devotion to God can be traced back to her early childhood growing up in Christian Fellowship CP Church under the pastorship of the late Pastor Emeritus, Harris Toney. As an adult, God led her and her family to Olivet Baptist Church with Bishop Kevin L. Adams where she has been an active member of the Choir and Praise Team, Drama Ministry, and a teacher in the Queen’s Women’s Ministry lead by First Lady Cynthia Adams.


Shawanna is an avid Alabama Roll tide and Tennessee Titans fan who loves spending time with her husband, Charles, daughter and son-in-love, Tianna and Richard Sammons and her fur-son, Cobe, and grand-dog, Nala.
